The government has also set out proposals in the biodiversity net gain consultation to ensure nature and biodiversity gain are at the heart of all new housing developments, to help communities, planners and developers ensure decision-making and design are nature positive. So, how is the housing sector approaching biodiversity net gain? And how are green spaces and wildlife-friendly environments being designed and managed to combat climate change and improve tenant and resident wellbeing?
