The Retrofit Academy is the driving force in retrofit knowledge and skills.

Its mission is to drive the development of 200,000 competent retrofitters in the UK by 2030.

The Retrofit Academy is at the heart of delivering leading-edge training and professional development across the UK, enabling organisations to transform the UK’s housing stock through high quality, safe retrofit. 

Two homes need to be retrofitted every minute if we are to meet the UK Government’s Net Zero commitments.

To do this, thousands of skilled professionals are needed that can deliver home decarbonisation at a scale never seen before. 

The Retrofit Academy works in partnership with government, industry and education to build retrofit capacity and capability across the UK, through a network of partnerships.
