Net Zero - prioritising the challenges to overcome

A collaboration between Ocean Media Group and Social, which mission is to inform, educate, and connect people and organisations involved in adopting a net zero approach, identifying the technologies, infrastructure and behaviour change required.

Decarbonising homes is a critical part of achieving a low carbon future. But before we can draw a roadmap for success, we need to be on the same page when defining net zero.

The most referenced and widely adopted definition is attributed to the UK Green Building Council, published in April 2019, promoting a holistic approach to net zero going beyond energy use and encompassing carbon emissions attributed to construction, operations and embodied within materials.

In this webinar, our expert panel comprised of Sue Riddleston, Chief Executive and Co-founder of Bioregional, Gary Clark, regional leader of the HOK’s Science + Technology practice and Chair of the RIBA’s Sustainable Futures Group, and Andy Sutton, Sero’s Co Founder and Director of Design & Innovation, chartered Architect and former Associate Director for the BRE, will aim to provide a clear view of what net zero means for the industry and outline the challenges to overcome to clear the path to success.
