The Retrofit Academy and Essex County Council picked up the Collaboration of the year, knowledge building and research award for their work on the Harlow & Tendering Retrofit Pipeline for Economic Renewal CRF Project at the first Unlock Net Zero Live Awards.
Announced at a ceremony held at Housing 2023 and hosted by Unlock Net Zero ambassador Kunle Barker, this category recognised projects that demonstrated tangible outcomes due to the collaboration of all parties.
The judges commented:
"This project demonstrates the power of collaboration between two substantially different organisations to come together as one project team to deliver tangible benefits to local people and leave a lasting legacy which will continue to deliver change at a local and national level. The project directly addresses the very significant supply chain challenges of retrofitting the UK’s housing stock and sets an example that can be replicated. We considered it a worthy winner in this category."
