2023 Unlock Net Zero Live Awards Winner - Climate champion of the year, South - Andres Shoman

Andres Shoman from the London Borough of Harrow was named Climate champion of the year, South at the first Unlock Net Zero Live Awards.

Announced at a ceremony held at Housing 2023 and hosted by Unlock Net Zero ambassador Kunle Barker, this category recognised the efforts of individuals who have demonstrated an exceptional commitment to combatting climate change. Given the popularity of this category, a champion from the North and the South was recognised at the awards.

Commenting on Andres, the judges said:

"We were really impressed by the breadth of impact, level of enthusiasm and innovation of Andres. The game changing use of technology to help scale up retrofit of housing deserves the platform provided by the award. He  goes above and beyond his role from the use of AI to direct engagement with residents. A really inspiring and a forward thinking leader, we are looking forward to see what he does next."
