The 2023 Climate Champions' Power List was unveiled at Unlock Net Zero Live

Recognised by their peers from within the UK housing and built environment sectors and the supply chains that support them, the Power List recognises those individuals who are making a real difference instilling positive climate action and sustainability practices.

Joshua Arthur - Gravesham Borough Council

The judges said: "Joshua consistently demonstrates a strong level of delivery of low carbon projects with the learnings importantly shared far and wide with stakeholders."

Sarah Daly - Turner & Townsend

The judges said: "Sarah is a strong, passionate advocate and influencer within the sector on the subject of net zero, highly committed to positive climate action."

Diana Davidson - Vertemis Ltd

The judges said: "Diana has made a clear and demonstrable impact on the climate agenda with clients, attracting funding and mentoring future energy leaders."

The judges said: "Graham is a great example of applying a lifetime of sustainability action into impactful activity and proactively sharing his knowledge with others."

Tara Gbloade - Gbloade Design Studio

The judges said: Tara shows real leadership in the sector and is a real ambassador for net zero. She not only uses professional platforms to promote sustainability, but we also wanted to recognise her work as a founding member of The Paradigm Network - a professional network championing Black and Asian representation in the built environment."

Derek Horrocks - Sustainable Building Services (UK) Ltd

The judges said: "Derek is hugely influential in the retrofit sector, currently chairing the National Home Decarbonisation Group whilst also developing and exploring new low carbon solutions through his own company Sustainable Building Services."

The judges said: "Rachael demonstrates a high level of commitment and enthusiasm, creating a multiplier effect through the development of educational tools and effective promotion for green mortgages and beneficial finance."

Mohammed Khalid - MECC Trust

The judges said: "Mohammed is a great demonstration of the positive impact of working within communities, developing relationships, and catalysing trust to improve people’s homes."

Georgina Patel - Independent Sustainability Consultant

The judges said: "Georgina has an impressive track record of delivering real impact from her work across a number of low carbon focused initiatives that she has been involved within."
