2023 Unlock Net Zero Live Awards Winner - Innovation of the year, product or service - Vivus Solutions
Vivus Solutions were named as the winners of the Innovation of the year, product or service category at the first Unlock Net Zero Live Awards.
Announced at a ceremony held at Housing 2023 and hosted by Unlock Net Zero ambassador Kunle Barker, this category recognised innovation and new approaches across a number of streams, in this instance in the development of products or services. Entrants were asked to clearly demonstrate how their innovation had made a positive impact in helping to reduce carbon emissions.
Speaking about the work undertaken by Vivus Solutions, the judges said:
"This submission has proactively addressed the “fabric first” challenge when retrofitting hard to treat properties, whilst also addressing embodied carbon in manufacturing. It was fantastic to see a product that is a single solution cold damp & mould resolution through insulating and poulticing render system."
In this category the judges also highly commended the work of Allume Energy and their SolShare technology which enables the sharing of solar energy from a single rooftop solar system amongst multiple dwellings within the same building.
